MallowMarsh™ started the way most heartfelt things do: with a parent, a pen, and the quiet realization of how fast it all goes. We make the kind of keepsakes we wish we'd had ourselves.
How it began
A journal we couldn't find anywhere
When we found out we were expecting our first, we did what every new parent does. We walked into a bookstore looking for the pregnancy journal. The one that felt special. The one we'd actually keep.
We didn't find it. The journals were either clinical and cold, or covered in cartoon storks and pastel clip-art. None of them felt like a keepsake. None of them made room for the messy, magical reality of becoming a parent: the 3am kicks, the ultrasound printouts that fade, the tiny socks you can't bear to throw away.
So we made one. Forty weeks of guided prompts. A full year of milestones after. A built-in Clean Touch Ink Pad so baby's first hand and footprints would live inside the book, not in a drawer somewhere. We gave it a hardcover, thick archival paper, and a gift box that felt like an invitation to slow down.
That journal became MallowMarsh™. The Clean Touch Ink Pad followed soon after, because grandparents kept asking for one of their own.

The name
Why MallowMarsh™?
Mallow for the softness of a newborn cheek. Marsh for the slow, quiet places where things grow. Together, a name for the in-between season when a family is just becoming itself.
It's also, honestly, the nickname we gave to the bump.
Officially written as MallowMarsh™, often searched as Mallow Marsh. Both lead to the same small studio. A little more on the spelling in our short journal entry.
